Tasha
If ever there was someone who is the exact opposite of the illustrious Black Barbie, it is Tasha. Working in the level three department and battling for the heart of Steve, Tasha is one of those characters I made readers fall in love with even though she is in the wrong initially.
When I developed this character, she was written as the girl next door type of girl. A little goofy at times, but more best friend material than relationship material. Unlike the women that Steve and his brethren gawk at in the call center, Tasha is usually wearing a t-shirt with a ponytail, not looking to advertise. She is Steve’s best friend as the two are perhaps a little too close, especially for Black Barbie’s liking.
Once Tasha saw the man she had, she opened her heart to Steve looking to change their relationship. While things fell apart initially in the first book, Tasha still battles on in the second and third books, hoping to land Steve once and for all. She has several secrets that she comes clean about in the second book that will shock you.
Tasha isn’t based on anyone in particular, other than an agent I remember briefly who hit the call center floor without much fanfare. Just like it’s told in book three, when the agent got a few checks under her belt, gone were the goofy glasses and such, and out came a beautiful woman that nobody saw coming. When the story begins in all iterations, Steve is dating Black Barbie when Tasha tempts him. It’s the reason I said Tasha was wrong initially, but readers seem to love her and believe she and Steve are destined to be together.
To see if the couple ended up together forever, you’re going to have to read all three titles. I promise you, the ending is as shocking as it is funny. Tasha also appears in another one of my works under a different name. If you figure out who, let me know, and you might win a free book courtesy of Tasha herself.

“I thought... I thought you actually cared for me. I thought you were the one guy in the world who actually gave a damn about me!” - Tasha to Steve after a misunderstanding.
